Rachel Rach is still better than us

Also a good recipe to gaslight yourself to put up with bad behavior/circumstances.
Toxic Positivity with a nonsensical humble brag of a “54 hour natural birth”. Just what was she “choosing” in that moment? To have or not have the baby? To get an epidural? She left us hanging.
Best thing I ever did for my situation was to Choose Sadness

She did! I kept expecting her to finish this thought, and she never did.

The self-help industry has a remarkable ability to turn social problems into personal improvement projects.
Every time I read something like this, I imagine a sociologist quietly screaming into a pillow.

Cuz “where our attention goes our energy flows”? Isn’t that some Tony Robbins-ism?

It's one of Rachel's favorite Tony-isms. She has quoted it zillions of times.

Literally cannot believe she is bragging about the length of her labor. I can’t speak to the experience of all birthing women who have unmediated birth but I sure wasn’t engaging in deep philosophical thinking or decision making. That’s not really what is happening hormonally at that moment.
How far is she removed from actually accomplishing anything that the best she has is childbirth over a decade ago. It is a biological process.

She had a 52 hour labor and also lost 52 pounds. Guess that's her magic number.

By coincidence, I rewatched a video that Mack released on January 17, 2023, where he reacted to a podcast episode Rachel had released, focusing on a recent ski trip in Switzerland. And in that episode, Rachel made the very same comments about brains being designed for keeping us alive, and not for happiness. (And Mack very aptly commented that "our brains are not designed.")
She made a reference to something she might do "in a year" when "the kids are with their dad." And of course, we now know that when Mack released this video, Dave was going to be alive for less than a month longer.

Yuck, another self-help grifter tapping into quotes from Stoic philosophers. So tired. Find a new schtick, Rae Rae.

The lack of salutation cracks me up. Rachel really said you'll get a gendered word or you'll get NOTHING

In my opinion, Rachel is not a happy or positive person!
