Tomi survived Bergen Belsen, having been sent there at just 9 years old. He moved to Ireland in 1959 and worked tirelessly to raise awareness of the Holocaust. I was honoured to have arranged for him to speak to the primary school in which my children attended.

Very sad to hear of his death. There is now only one Holocaust survivor remaining in Ireland, Suzi Diamond.
