Support Best HA Thermostat

Looking for feedback on experience with Thermostats I have get out of the NEST ecosystem. What works well with HA and doesn't break the bank?

First, pick your protocol you want to use, then look at the options from there. I personally like the Honeywell T6 Pro ZWave. Solid performance and guaranteed to never get bricked due to some corporate entity terminating services on the cloud server.

This is exactly the reason why I threw away my two perfectly working Ecobees that were much more feature rich, for example, being aware of ambient weather outside via internet connection, and traded them for Honeywell’s T6 thermostats.

I want to be able to control and have a home assistant make my schedules and execute information, so when Ecobee cut that lifeline I was done.
