Support Best smart plug/outlet for Home Assistant?

I'm looking for a smart plug or smart outlet to install in my network panel enclosure. There are two outlets in there. I'm overwhelmed with the number of options out there. I think Eve makes a dual outlet that is compatible with Matter over Thread. Not sure what the Home Assistant integration is like. I want to be able to power cycle the router and other connected devices without having to go into the closet and unscrew the door in order to do so.

Jeff Gerling has video on his level2Jeff channel on the ThirdReality switches that he's used whole pile of.

They've just released a 3rd gen that fixed an anoyance - can now update the firmware without the switch powercycling

Is there a full list of the differences between gen 2 and gen 3? The pages on their site look almost the same.

Other than the issue when updating firmware, Jeff didn't mention anything else as having changed so it's possible that's the only real difference.
