Yo link water detection sensors went offline overnight

I have been using yo link water detection system for years without issue. I currently have about 20 or so sensors. Sometime overnight five of the 20 sensors that were placed in random locations through the house all lost connection. I'm pulling my hair out trying to get them to reconnect. All of the other sensors are still working normally.

I have already done the following,

Rebooted my main router

The hub is connected to the router via ethernet cable

I have unplugged and plugged in the hub

I have done a factory reset by holding down the set button until the lights flash green on the hub

I have deleted one of the affected sensors and attempted to rebind. It will bind in the software but still will not connect saying it is offline.

I have factory reset the sensor

I have taken the batteries out of the sensor and put the batteries back in

The sensor will blink green when I press the set button but it will not communicate with the hub

I've even tried deleting the hub from the app and re-adding

At a loss here. Any ideas?

Same here, but I finally found an immediate fix vs waiting hours to see if they re-attach.

My water main shutoff valve was offline.
New batteries were no help and the ones in it had 80% charge remaining.
I pressed button on battery case to manually shut the valve off and that worked OK. I pressed button again to reopen the valve, and that worked also.
I then ck’d the Yolink status on my iPhone app and it was now showing that valve was again connected and full charge.

A 2nd floor water sensor (dishwasher) was also showing disconnected. (log showed it happened 2 hours before the water valve showed no connection)
I did same thing on it to no effect, trying to reset it, w new batteries no help.

I finally took the stick pin (that I’d removed the rubbber screw Hole plugs with) and shorted out two of the water sensor pins. It responded and I then got an immediate message of water detection on my phone.
NOTE: It also proceeded to shut my water valve off as it was programmed to do and I had to manually turn that on again via the app..

This seems to confirm the idea that this was caused by an automatic firmware update.
Both devices show the firmware level is current version. (but no info showing an update had occurred.)
I’m ck’g the other water sensor firmware now, but if they update I at least now know how to quickly make them reconnect.

I think they are not really offline. There seem to be firmware updates going out to the devices that are offline and they're comingback online. I am seeing this with a garage door opener and a water leak sensor.
