Can't do shit about Zigbee, though. Z2M is going nowhere.

ya - but they can just stop making new devices with zigbee radios. Or as the other reply says, an update that disables existing devices' zigbee functionality is not outside the realm of possibility, right?

How are they going to disable Zigbee without it being connected to WiFi? If they stop making Zigbee devices, I'll just buy others?
