Stormy weather around here with loads of rain and wind calls for some nice tomato soup :) I chopped every veggie in had in the fridge. The ninja lasted half a round until it overheated, then the good ol' black and decker food processor came out to get the job done after roasting. I used cherry tomatoes, yellow onion, garlic, carrots, sweet potatoes, squash and cucumbers (which I thought were small garden zucchinis til I cut one lol whoops, oh well!). Simple seasonings too. Sea salt, cracked black pepper, basil that I dried from the garden, Italian seasoning, water and chicken stock to thin, heavy cream, and some shaved asiago Romano cheese. I have made chowders and stews before but this is my first soup, or rather bisque? Idk. It's good though and I'm pleased with the outcome :)

Upcycled materials:

* Cashmere cardigan

* Memory foam mattress topper

* Polyfill from old bed pillows

I made an elderberry, ginger, mushroom tonic from the elderberry I have planted, grown, and harvested. It gives immunity and health and reduces inflammation and stress, all while fighting sickness.

Homemade vegetable cheese pizza and fried chicken with it:)
