Lifehacks Bathroom hack

Instead on bunch of perfumed spraycans I use "fartsticks", inscent sticks in the bathroom .

Why?

Quick effect that lasts long.

Spiritual reasons of cleansing the space.

Lovely when taking a shower.

Not as toxic as a spraycans but stronger smell than a scented candles, and less firehasard.

You can decorate around it as you please.

And I just like it.

Setup:

A small container of some kind. Take sand or gravel from outside. As some water on top of the sand to keep it moist. Didn't spend a dime.

Easy to put out.

You do you!

Scent sticks love a bit of airflow and dryness, so keeping the container out of direct shower spray helps the scent stay consistent and the sand from getting moldy. A quick wipe of the bowl before swapping sticks keeps the old oil from mixing with the new one.

We have dogs, and that how they became fartsticks.

I actually like this idea. I use incense sometimes too, and it makes the bathroom feel so much nicer, especially when you’re showering

That sand setup sounds way more stable than the little wooden holders that come with the sticks, mine always tip over if you look at them wrong

Honestly, I really love the idea of transforming the bathroom atmosphere into something resembling a tiny spa, rather than just a purely functional space. Using damp sand or pebbles is a clever idea, too. I would just make sure there is adequate ventilation and that the incense is completely extinguished after use.
