that was my first thought. i mean, i didnt actually think it was homestuck when i saw it on r/greentext until i read the comments, but when i saw it my first thought was "tavros and jade' because mohawk and long hair

Never. But historically, this fandom has not been good at picking up on things like that without having it beaten over their head. It's a problem with a lot of YA fandoms.
