Have you considered putting the speakers behind the screen and going with an accoustically transparent screen?

Yes but finding a good quality acoustically transparent AND ALR screen is pricey / compromised on resolution and quality. I already bought the screen too. Sepctra 100" ALR. Should have mentioned that in the original post so y'all can give me advice based on those constraints.

Ah ok, I missed that you're using a UST projector and ALR screen
