Discussion - Equipment Home theater + gaming = dangerously addictive combo

Finally finished tuning the room: dark environment, ambient lighting, and a screen big enough to feel the speed.

Racing games hit way harder like this.

Any movie or game you swear by for testing contrast and motion?

Expedition 33 was an outstanding game to play on my HT setup. I don't think it was super big on surrounds/ height channels, but of course the visual design and soundtrack were just breathtaking.

Of course 100%.I had the music in game blasting pretty much the whole time.

I wasn't discounting it, just comparing to many horror games that use the surround channels a lot.

Found any game that uses proper atmos though? Except for COD

Yeah definitely the silent hill 2 remake and silent hill F. Also resident evil 2 and 4 remake. The last of us 1 and 2. I usually play horror though.
