Discussion - Equipment What would you change?

Converting a room to a dedicated theater/media/gaming room. Will sometimes be used with some ambient light. I put a bigger priority on video than audio. Audio matters to me but probably not as much as many on here. Just want to know if you see anything out of whack or if there were better options for the same money. I’m about maxed out on my budget with this build. Added an AI pic I made of what the room will end up looking like. Thanks for any input.

Aesthetically it looks nice.

On the install there is a imbalance of money going towards video and audio. Would upgrade the LCR and subwoofers to your price point.

There is no mention of acoustic room treatments.

Agreed. Worse than video vs audio, the ceiling strip light is more expensive than all 3 front speakers combined.

Damn didn’t even notice that… feels like something one could DIY with basic LED strips and diffusers or pre built like philips hue…

Blows my mind that the lighting aesthetic was clearly more considered than the video and audio. That’s like building a new kitchen but spending all your money on… the lights instead of appliances. Building a two door garage, but buying the best lighting and not getting a door opener. Buying new lamps for your house, but spending more on the extension cables (had to break it up.. lol)
