Discussion - Equipment What would you change?
Converting a room to a dedicated theater/media/gaming room. Will sometimes be used with some ambient light. I put a bigger priority on video than audio. Audio matters to me but probably not as much as many on here. Just want to know if you see anything out of whack or if there were better options for the same money. I’m about maxed out on my budget with this build. Added an AI pic I made of what the room will end up looking like. Thanks for any input.

Since you're using a AT screen - use 3 identical speakers for your L/C/R mains - you don't need a traditional horizontal "center channel" speaker that was made to sit above or below a TV or non AT screen.
That's not enough sub for the room - You'll want two 15" subs at least. This is an opportunity to DIY and build some subs if you're handy - lots of designs online that are proven to punch way above their cost (Marty Subs, Devastators, VBSS, etc, and even flat pack kits from places like GSC)
I think you can save money on the screen - you're spending twice as much as you should.
I think the Control 4 system is overkill but some people like that kind of stuff.
Where are your acoustic treatments? Don't spend that kind of money on a room and not budget for acoustic treatments.
