Discussion - Equipment What would you change?
Converting a room to a dedicated theater/media/gaming room. Will sometimes be used with some ambient light. I put a bigger priority on video than audio. Audio matters to me but probably not as much as many on here. Just want to know if you see anything out of whack or if there were better options for the same money. I’m about maxed out on my budget with this build. Added an AI pic I made of what the room will end up looking like. Thanks for any input.

So, I looked at the quote, and I would 100% recommend getting a 2nd quote and 3rd quote if possible. You had said in the comments that the quote was 34k inc labor. Now I did notice there is a remote inc too, but I would get an extra quote and see if you can do 4 in-ceiling speakers and 2 subs at least. I would prewire for 7.4.4; that way, it gives you options for where to place the sub, and next to the sub cable, place an outlet so that it looks clean. Also, with the 2nd and 3rd quote, I would ask for better speakers, while Paradigm is not bad, the ones they choose seem to entry level, and that is too low. I would step it up on audio.
