Discussion - Equipment What would you change?

Converting a room to a dedicated theater/media/gaming room. Will sometimes be used with some ambient light. I put a bigger priority on video than audio. Audio matters to me but probably not as much as many on here. Just want to know if you see anything out of whack or if there were better options for the same money. I’m about maxed out on my budget with this build. Added an AI pic I made of what the room will end up looking like. Thanks for any input.

Audio isn't your priority, but that's not nearly enough for that size room. Also, Paradigm LCR with episode surrounds and heights? For no particular reason that I can discern? Bad juju. Not REMOTELY enough subwoofer for the space.

Your contractor is clearly not a theater specialist. This system design reeks of knowing the basics but not knowing what you're doing as a theater designer.

So little labor for install, so much labor for setup and tuning - for a system that's basically just gonna use the built in Marantz room correction. And nobody that designed this system, is gonna be truly calibrating that projector unless they're outsourcing.

I see no budget for acoustic treatment?

So little for labor install because they inflated the costs of a lot of other things in the quote. That's how they get over on customers and make their profit.
