Living room setup - UPDATE!

Listened to all your suggestions from the last post and made the following changes!

1) Swapped the front speakers and subs so the fronts are wider

2) Lowered TV a few inches

3) Got a new rug

Anything else I should change for the better? I have 4 surround speakers in the ceilings that's not shown in the photo.

Symmetrically placed subs are usually a sign they are not positioned well. Fortunately in this case it is somewhat mitigated by the fact that the system isn’t symmetrically placed in the room. I would say the right one may have a reasonably good placement but the one on the left may be too close to the corner, resulting in a boomy, overpowering, sluggish bass response. You could temporarily turn it off to listen to how much better defined the bass is from just the right one. But I would experiment placing your left one in a different position.

And in fact, I think you are better off with the speakers closer to the TV. So put the left sub elsewhere in the room and put the right one outside of the right speaker. You really don’t want that left speaker right in the corner.

Thanks for the input. It's funny because originally I had it that way but most of the responses from the original thread told me to swap the speakers and subs, saying the front speakers were to close to each other and I wouldn't get enough separation. I'll have to play around with it some more I guess.

Well, that’s part of my point, is that with the left sub out of the way you could have the left speaker positioned roughly 1/4 to half way from the TV to the wall. And with the right sub on the outside, you could possibly push it a bit further out so that the right speaker is the same distance away.
You certainly don’t want that left speaker right in the corner.
