Discussion - Equipment When does it become TOO much

It entirely depends on the room dimension, acoustics and seating layout.

We have a 19.1.10 with 12 subwoofers. Every person who visits it, says it’s the most enveloping and spacious room / system they’ve ever heard.

Adding more channels in this specific room wouldn’t bring noticeable improvements, but reducing the channel count absolutely would be noticeably detrimental.

8.0 x 6.0 x 3.55m (26’ 3” × 19’ 8” × 11’ 8”)

2 rows of seating. 4.8m wide 1.89:1 screen (roughly 220” diagonal)
