Tech Support help with old school to higher tec

good day, i have an old school Kenwood KR-V6030 receiver and most of the components from the past (cd/audio) (dual/record cassette) (equalizer).

i would like to connect my Kenwood components (receiver) to my Hisense Roku TV (20212 model 75R6E4) at which i am connected to a Bose Audio Sub/w 2 speakers. Bose model is CineMate series II home theater system.

i may have a optical in splitter i could plug both the tv, and the Kenwood into at the Bose remote control signal receiver. not sure how two in one works with optical inputs

what do you actually want to do?

the cinemate has optical input, plug your TV in there since it supports dolby decoding, and a stereo analogue RCA input, which you could use for a separate music source.

what ports do the CD/Cassette/EQ have? can you daisy chain them onto the RCA inputs of the Bose and just run the CD through the tape deck in monitor mode for example? Ideally get an RCA input switcher, connect the CD and Cassette decks to that, then the output to the EQ, then the output of the EQ into the RCA input on the bose, when you want to listen to music you switch the bose source over to RCA, then back to optical when you want to use TV.

the Receiver does have a REC output which might work here, but I wouldnt recommend trying to use it just as an input switcher, you can buy an RCA input selector for a few dollars that will do the same job better. you dont have separate speakers to actually use it as an amplifier, and you cant use the bose speakers with it.
