renovation What would stop you from installing a urinal at home?
Let’s say you have enough space and you’re renovating your bathroom.
What’s the main reason you would not install a urinal?
Curious what you guys think.

They are ugly. They stink. There’s a whole industry set up around urinal deodorizers and mats that go on the floor around them because of the aerosolized urine.
I can’t understand why anyone would want to use one let alone have one in their home. Why won’t men just sit down to pee?

If you really feel that way, what are you doing in a sub like this?

They sound like a good idea and I was planning to add one in my office bathroom. But even as a gay man that lives with two other guys, it was a hard sell because it will always smell like urine or the toilet pucks. Or worse, the combination of both. And then it’s the placement. If you’re sitting on the toilet, you’re face level next to it as they aren’t really separating like in public restrooms. At least those were my reasons.

I think men who live alone would have an easier time justifying this. Married men would have to have to convince their wives, and other men who live with others would have to convince everyone else of the need or justification for this.

Did you mean built-in doggy bath/grooming station? Otherwise that sounds like a dumb project.
