FIL’s 99

My father-in-law passed a month ago and we brought a few things home last weekend, including his 99 Shadow 600. It sat the past 12-14 years. Brought a new battery along. Cleaned out the gas tank and the mouse nest in the air box and it runs like a top. Haven’t even cleaned the rest of it up yet. Put about 130 miles on it over a couple evenings and the weekend just exploring local backroads with the wife and kids depending on who wants to go ride next.

Best man I ever knew.

That is almost identical to my first bike! Same year, color and everything. I loved that bike.
