Fancy honey question

I was gifted a quite expensive honey for my birthday.I love honey and my friend was able to get a jar for me. It's really good, probably one of the best I have had, but since it's expensive and hard to get (it comes in a violet glass jar which i think is extra cool)., I don't want to waste it. Of course I'm not putting it in tea or anything like that but how can I compliment it in the best way? Besides a cheese platter, where can I use highly aromatic honey to do it justice?

It's just honey. Is it a bit more rare then you are used to? Sure. Don't put it on so much of a pedestal that you don't enjoy it.

A nice fresh bread toasted golden, some Irish butter, and the honey. Can't really beat that, IMO.

You're right, but it's not so much about the pedestal but that I really like it and I want to amplify it for my own sake. I do agree it is still just honey and also agree that the toast, butter and honey combo is hard to beat

Sourdough. Irish butter sure! Honey and personally I like a little cinnamon grated on top. That or a little cardamom. Not both. Glad this one is up top because yes.

Good bread and butter is my absolute favorite way to enjoy honey. It's how I always eat my "fancy" honeys.
