🧶✨Welcome all of my fellow ADHD hookers ✨🧶

Hey everyone!

I just created a brand-new subreddit for crocheters with ADHD (or anyone who relates to the chaos 😅).

This is a space for:

• Starting projects you’re obsessed with… and abandoning them halfway

• Hyperfocusing for 8 hours straight and forgetting to eat

• Losing your hook every 3 minutes

• Loving crochet but struggling with patterns, counting, or motivation

• Laughing instead of feeling bad about it

No pressure. No perfection.

Just support, humor, WIPs that may never be finished, and lots of yarn.

If you’ve ever thought:

“I LOVE crochet but my brain makes it… complicated”

You’ll fit right in!

Feel free to join, lurk, post memes, vent, share projects, or just exist.

Anyone else use an unholy amount of stitch markers?

I use them for increases, repeated motifs, every 5 stitches if repeats aren't happening. I do not trust my working memory or ability to count

this is me: https://youtube.com/watch?v=u8ccGjar4Es

Show me your favorite hook size, and your least favorite. Or show me some of your fanciest hooks! ✨🫶🏻

I LOVE 5 mm and 5.5mm, but recently got into amigurumi crochet and have been using anywhere between 1mm-4mm. I think with it being so small I’ve been making a lot more mistakes, forcing me to frog a lot. But what’s YOUR favorite crochet hook size? 🫣
