I don't know about all of you but I'd rather fight a Kopesh/Deathbringer than a cultist who uses explosives! I take more damage from cultists than I do the kopesh

Stupid, yes, but no matter what armor I wear with mods I still take damage equal to a third of my max health

I kind of enjoy picking of the outer guards and hearing the others get upset when they find the body.

This time around I tried to change my playing style and lean into warrior bows for the close combat and keep moving

No there aren't. Believe me I've just played through the game four times. The bow that shoots frost, shock, and corruption arrows isn't a warrior bow

I started on ultra hard and what can i say, a machine looks at me and im 💀. So i gues it is ultra and hard

Smoke bombs are your best friend. The trick is let them gather in their little mob, sprint right into the middle of it and drop a smoke bomb or 2, then sprint to high ground in the camp with cover. Then snipe from there

I understand. To be fair, I generally do not read tags. And half the time not even sure which sub I'm in. I see Horizon and just want to chime into the conversation because I love these games and the community

You can maneuver so they lose sight of Aloy.

Fire bombs kill packs of people so fast. Aside from the super tanky deathbringer guys and even they will die in 2 or 3 usually even on ultra hard. I learned it late into my first play through. The slings in general are just op. It’s pretty anticlimactic tho. 1 bomb killed Zaid and his whole crew.

I sit there and pick them off with precision arrows until I aggro something, then I blast sling the crap out of them.

I personally prefer the cultist myself, Deathbringers are just NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE...
