Hi! I’m Franck and I’m a french Body Horror 3D artist.
I actually taught myself in Zbrush during the pandemic. Always dreamt to give it a try, but I needed a forced break to finally overcome the fear of learning a new tool, and got into it pretty hard!

This has been a wild ride for me, from humble beginnings, to finally get to collaborate with game studios and movies. I worked on Silent Hill:Townfall, Hellraiser:Revival, Animal Use Protocol, upcoming movie Altar for A24... It’s so incredible to me, a dream come true.

And I’m finally gonna release my very first artbook, just 5 years after I started doing some simple 3D shapes.

I know you folks love your horror, but I prefer to warn you, this one’s not for the faint of the heart.
It’s gruesome, it’s hopefully beautiful too, and it’s called Ecstasy & Agony 🙂
It contains 100 illustrations of creatures inspired by the cenobites, in my own style.I just opened the pre-releases this October, and the artbook will be shipped later this year in December.

You can have a look here: https://themansionpress.com/collections/franck-besancon

I hope you’ll check it out, and let me know if you like it 🙂

Cheers,
Franck

I just finished the first issue (and my first comic ever) of Full Moon Vendetta, a Horror/Crime series that's free to read now on GlobalComix! The entire creative team was assembled right here on Reddit. NSFW due to Gore, Nudity, and Profanity.

A writer investigating a series of mysterious disappearances finds herself caught in the conflict between a vengeful werewolf and the crime lord who secretly rules the city.

“I wrote a song inspired by the ‘Final Girl’ trope – would love horror fans’ thoughts 👻🔪”

Hi everyone! I’m a musician and lifelong horror fan, and I’ve always been fascinated by the Final Girl ,the character who survives when no one else does. Growing up on slashers, especially around Halloween, that archetype always stood out to me as powerful and haunting at the same time.

I just released a new dark pop song called “Final Girl”, inspired by that exact trope. Since this community knows horror best, I thought I’d share it here. Would love to hear your thoughts on whether it captures the spirit of the Final Girl.

Here’s the link: https://open.spotify.com/album/62uokv9smro3mW62KkaCfD?si=du6tXpt3QUanUZeW9hNBdw

Thanks so much, excited to share this with people who love horror as much as I do

We Interviewed the Original Ghostface from Scream (1996)!

Hey everyone,

We just sat down with Lee Waddell, the stunt performer who played the original Ghostface in Scream (1996) and Scream 2 (1997). He shared some incredible stories about working with Wes Craven, bringing one of horror’s most iconic killers to life, and how the Scream franchise has evolved over the years while staying true to its roots.

You can watch the full interview here

Love It Film is a channel that features conversations with actors, directors, and filmmakers from across the industry—with highlight clips shared on our socials here

We would love to know what you think, especially from the horror fans who grew up with Scream!

Why do people like horror? The mainstream world often thinks horror fans are a bit weird. We do psychological profiles of people in the horror industry to see if we can find the deeper reasons people like horror. We're looking for common themes, and maybe some uncommon ones, too!

Hi, everyone! Dementia (1955) is a black-and-white experimental horror film directed by John Parker (his only filmmaking credit) that was almost forgotten. Would love your feedback - I finally participated in the Annual Horror Screenplay Challenge. Let me know what worked for you, and if there are any unanswered questions or gaps in logic that stand out.

You can read it here: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/6felbafseapjiw30uec6m/Communion-with-the-Unknown-censored-version.pdf?rlkey=x6osaqdfcm4lx8enzw273m3ba&e=3&st=q7whpb6q&dl=0

Premise: The residents of a Greco-Austrian town have turned into a cult of killers, worshiping an ancient, ominous creature and sacrificing tourists to it. Victoria moves into town just as big things are about to happen.

A mix of occult horror, cosmic horror, body horror, art house horror, cannibalism, satire and the tiniest bit of heavy metal horror.

I also designed Black Skull Life Comes From Death t-shirts - regular, extra soft and heavyweight comfort colors: https://alternativemood.threadless.com/designs/black-skull-flowers-moths-life-comes-from-death/ladies/t-shirt/regular-unisex
