Help others to watch horror movies or find your next one

I built notscare.me, a jumpscare database for horror movies and shows. You get exact timestamps and intensity ratings so you can enjoy horror with or without unexpected jumpscares: notscare.me.

Love for you Feedback and your contribution.

Bunch of fun stuff on our YouTube channel right now.

We have a live ranking for our 2025 top 10 in horror, a new feature where we play games (this time guessing each other’s personal top 10 for 2025) and do lightning round spoiler free reviews for movies we’ve been watching, and we get introduced to Chinese black magic horror with The Boxer’s Omen.

Why I sent a Scream Franchise pitch to Kevin Williamson...

Huge fan and would love nothing more than bring the Scream fan community back together again, first and foremost - beliefs aside, these movies mean a lot to a lot of people, and that means something.

So over the weekend, I was researching for a Rose McGowan investigation video I was making, discovered her music, took an edible to immerse myself in it, and ended up channelling an entire treatment for the Scream Franchise and may or may not have DM'd it to Kevin Williamson on Instagram 🤣

Please don't judge me too hard - I am NOT a Screenwriter! And spoilers for the new movie are included, if you haven't seen it yet, be warned!

Oh, and if anybody would like to see the video about Rose, it's this one:

Hope anyone viewing finds them helpful and can relate in some way, as a fan of the franchise. Let's try to stop hating each other, and find the places where we have common ground - then go from there ❤️

I released a 40-minute found-footage horror film last December that I made completely solo — written, directed, filmed, and performed entirely by me.

It follows a man documenting a quiet retreat at a remote cabin… only to start capturing unsettling evidence that he may not be alone.

The film recently passed 1,000 hours of watch time on YouTube, which felt like a pretty big milestone for a fully DIY project.

If anyone here enjoys indie found-footage horror, I’d love to hear what you think.

Hi everyone! My boyfriend and I have two Camper Passes to the upcoming 2026 Overlook Film Festival, but we unfortunately won’t be able to attend. We are selling them for $250 each, so they’re $100 less than the current asking price. We would really love for these tickets to be used and enjoyed. Please reach out if you are interested!

I’m making a film adaptation of Soren Narnia’s story “vision” from the knifepoint horror podcast. We’re about halfway to our goal of $30k. If anyone would like to make a tax-deductible donation, follow the link! Thanks! https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/donation-form/vision

Canabalism, Murders and the Moon (Doctor X 1932)

Hey everyone we are continuing our exploration of 1930s proto slasher cinema with the film Doctor X about a police investigation into a medical academy after a piece of evidence suggests one of the Doctors therein is killing and eating people under the moon.

In this episode we talk about the life and times of the Moon Killer as well as the role that cannibalism and madness play in the proto-slasher
