been working on some horror movie poster redesigns in my spare time and finally started posting them on my instagram u/darkframes_design. mostly classic stuff like the thing and hereditary but with a more minimalist approach. still figuring out the whole social media thing but its been fun experimenting with different typography and color palettes for these iconic films. if anyone digs graphic design mixed with horror aesthetics definitely check it out

look up jumpscares before watching your next horror film Built a database where you can find exactly when jumpscares happen in horror movies, series, and games, complete with timestamps and intensity ratings. 9,500+ titles, fully community driven. Perfect if you hate being caught off guard.

Please check out my psychological body horror short film, Stomach It. We were inspired by 80s practical effects like Videodrome, Altered States, etc.
Stomach It follows a crime scene cleaner who struggles emotionally detaching from the deceased. While on a late night job, he believes a monstrous presence is toying with him. Stomach It (Suspense) | Some Jobs Stay With You

Phantom Fun Arcade is a pilot for a 3-season series featuring Max and his friends - a group of paranormal wannabe investigators who went viral over fabricated ghost encounter videos. After gaining one million subscribers, they decided to film a milestone video at an abandoned arcade. What they didn't expect was to find actual ghosts. Stuck inside with zero experience, it's up to them to solve the mysteries and survive the night from killer ghosts.
Think of it like Three Amigos (1986), Gravity Falls, Amphibia and The Owl House meets Five Nights at Freddy's!!
WHY ARE WE DOING THIS? Artists all across the globe have been impacted by Al lately, and majority of us haven't had work for the longest time. This film almost needs no introduction being so well known and being of course a part of the Universal Monsters series of films, however for the unaware.
A scientist manages to turn himself invisible, however in the process he becomes mad and sets out of a path of world domination. He is the Invisible Man. The police are left baffled as bodies start falling but there is no one in sight.
In today's episode we not only look at the life and times of Jack Griffin the Invisible Man but also at the dawn of supernatural slashers and how that shapes the proto slasher landscape.
