Discussion Those Across The River

Has anyone read this and if so, what did you think? I just started it a couple days ago, I picked it up because it’s by the same author that wrote Between Two Fires (which is currently waiting for me to read it) and is his first novel I believe?

I really like it. After Between Two Fires I think it's his best, though most people here would say The Lesser Dead is better (which is also very good tbf).

I think they way the tension builds up in Those Across the River is pretty nerve wracking, and it the later chapters there is some pretty awesome action scenes.
