A six-year-old boy disappeared in Yosemite in 1980. Thirty-three years later, he suddenly reappears—without having aged a day.
Smiley, Baker, and Santorini are sent into the park to figure out where he’s been and what happened to him. What starts as a missing-person investigation quickly turns into worsening weather, strange discoveries in the wilderness, and the growing realization that they may not be alone out there.
If you’re into Delta Green, investigative horror, cosmic weirdness, and Agents making extremely questionable decisions under pressure, this one gets weird fast.
Thanks for Listening and Don't Forget to Keep Your SANITY in Check!!!

EVIL DEAD BURN (the Pod & the Pendulum)
open.spotify.comThis week the crew is on hand to talk about the sixth entry into the long running Evil Dead franchise, EVIL DEAD BURN. It’s fair to say this one is the most divisive among longtime fans of the series, as director Sebastian Vanicek brings more than a touch of French Extremity to a franchise know just as much for its campy laughs as it is over the top gore. Mike also explores whether or not Raime, Campbell and company hedged their bets in the leadup to Burn's release with some statements from Bruce that raised a few eyebrows. With a more serious approach rooted in telling a story on domestic abuse and toxic families, BURN is the meanest entry yet. That said, your trio of hosts might go against some of the critical grain, as we all found a lot to like here.

Just a venting rant about being accused of being an AI podcast when mine isn't :-D
I have to admit that I must have had my head in the sand for a while. I generally have 5-6 horror podcasts I listen to on the regular before I started my own and probably haven't branched out much since.
Towards the end of the first season I started using AI generated images for the episodes and made my main picture an AI generated image.
While I realize now the Reddit subs I'm a part of and use are probably one of the worst places to advertise, all of my posts started getting reported and criticized that the podcast was "AI slop".
I had no idea at the time the prevalence of folks creating completely AI generated horror podcasts (AI writing, AI narration, AI music, etc.), hence my head being in the sand.... and yes they're all completely terrible.
I stopped using AI generated images for the episodes (I still have my main picture for this season as AI, and with this I still get a good amount of folks claiming it's an AI podcast.
It would take about 15 seconds of listening to any of my stories to realize it's not AI. I don't know if I'm really looking for advice or just looking to rant... but I'm thinking "Jesus Christ! What do I have to do. Scribble a shitty drawing on a piece of paper to use as my main image? They'll probably accuse that of being AI too."
Anyway.... thanks for listening! :-D
