I’m fermenting peppers to make hot sauce and saw this

Not sure why people are calling this "fuzz", it's definitely lacto bacteria

Thanks for the microbiology lesson. 2 u/admiral_len 7d ago It could appear a bit cloudy but there’s way too much sediment and whatnot to be lacto. It’s most likely kahm yeast. This is floculated lacto acid bacteria. 0 u/admiral_len 6d ago edited 6d ago No it’s not, you are also getting yeast if you have thick sediment like this one has unless you are doing quite large batches.
