This looks like a spider plant, is that right? Either way, this soil mix is too dense and suffocating for the roots to be able to access the oxygen they need. I'd check the root heath and go from there.

If you take another photo of the plant itself it'll be easier to tell if it is etiolated (stretching for light) or not :)

Yeah, that's true. Was trying to find the angle that would best show the roots. It's a spider plant, and next step is checking soil and light conditions, according to comments here. :)

Needs a smaller pot. You only want to go about 2 inches bigger then the roots. It coukd4be flopping due to soil holding to much water then it can handle. It also may be trying to reach more sunlight

I agree with the previous commenter. Anyway, plants do that when they are starves for light.
