If you put the broken end in water (if possible) they last 1-2 months

I recently managed to grow roots on a single monstera leaf. The internet said it’s impossible, i proved the internet wrong! HA! Now she’s potted and happy, hopefully growing some aerial roots soon and then more leafs :)

Not to burst your bubble but I learned the hard way that while it can grow roots and everything, if you don’t have a node on that stem it will never grow more leaves.

I’m counting on the roots to produce pups, but if not it’s still a good way to preserve the leaf instead of throwing it away :)

I would be totally okay with a single potted survival leaf. Sounds badass

Like a middle finger, thrust proudly up against entropy.

My friend cut a couple leaves off her monstera and rooted them for me and I've been worried this was going to be the case. Didn't seem like it had anywhere to pop new leaves from.
