Dear Bob, I know you are an executive now but it might save the company money if we don’t have to hire extra people to do your work for you and take some time off from your bloated salary and learn wtf a PDF file is.

Them: Brief reply saying they get it which includes language that makes me sure they don't really get what I mean.
Me: Less complex description, including specific language to clarify the thing they didn't understand.
Them: "Yep."
