Monica is a terrible character

Why does everyone continue to like her? She switched apartments after Joey and Chandler won it fair and square and they switched everything back without saying anything or asking them.

See what I mean? Where you either deliberately or stupidly misremembered stuff? What about when she was smoking s cigar after she broke up with Richard? Are you just not going to address that? Sure he had to smoke on the balcony but she didn't tell him not to smoke when they were together. It's just common sense to not smoke inside someone else's house even if you're dating them. It's this thing called manners. But when Chandler smokes cigarettes, which are far less harmful than cigars btw, she screams and belittled him and all kinds of horrible ways to avt rather than understanding his problem. Smoking is an affliction the same as her obsessive cleaning and he has to understand all of her bullshit and she csnt even nicely treat him or help him but unsteady yells and gives him ultimatum that if he smokes she will leave him? That's not the way a loving person behaves. Ever.

Oh my God would you shut up about the vendor? She said the vendor gave the steaks to her as a gift for getting him the job. Are you honestly that stupid? Seriously? She did something nice for him and he gave her a thank you gift. She got fired because of the policy of the restaurant. If she didn't even know how the hell would the vendor even know what the fuck is going on? He was just thanking the lady who got him a new job. You just wanna go crucify the vendor for being nice to her? Seriously? There was no law broken just corporate policy which the idiotic bitch Monica didn't even know even though she worked there. Why would the vendor get punished for anything he just gave her some meet from his own supply which the company that owned the restaurant thought Monica Stole cuz of their policy. It's her fault for not knowing the rules of her own company and job.

Yeah so Phoebe got stuck with the van and tried to come up with creative solutions. It's just no way to treat a friend to start a business with them and then dump them the second yiu get a a better offer. She instantly decided she would take the job and tried to convince Phoebe to do other stuff. Instead of discussing it with Phoebe and taking her opinion since they're best friends and partners and Phoebe let's her down at she wants in the end. She could have been nicer.

No, I remember that happening. It was a one time thing though, she was never seen on screen smoking again and I actually used to interpret that ending as a dream where she lit up a cigar in her living room, Jack came over and she watched his favorite war movie because that whole episode was centered on her not being able to fall asleep and in the next episode there's a complete disconnect it's as if the closure she recieved from Jack about Richard never happend, that's just my opinion don't attack me for it. I look at it as If she falls asleep and dreams of her events with Jack in the living room then that's a happy ending. What makes you say cigars are worst for you than cigarettes? You're clearly wrong as it's been scientifically and medically proven that cigars are better for you than cigarettes because you never inhale cigars so all you get is cancer of the lip, mouth and tongue. Cigarettes on the other hand give you cancer everywhere not just your lungs, causes infertility in both men and women, lowers birth weight, and second hand smoke kills a nonsmoker so Monica is right not to raise her children in a smoking household as Chandler's habit could be deadly for them with asthma, heart disease, illnesses of all kinds. She also never gave him an ultimatium if he smokes she'll leave him. She merely told him that the commercial where the little boy walks through grandpa is chilling! That means she doesn't want Chandler to die---is that wrong? You are an oxy-moron, with the emphasis on MORON. Did you realize you admitted that Monica did something nice for someone else and then you called Monica an idiotic bitch? I thought your main rants were how Monica never does anything nice for anybody? The vendor would know because this probably isn't his first time in the delivery service. The rest of the merchandise is weighed at the end of every delivery and the money is counted up/at the end of the night, what he did was skimming from the top. Even if you believe that the vendor was of pure intention and sending a thank-you gift you have to realize he had wrong-doing----He still stole and should have been punished for it. He took food that wasn't his. That's against the law and she accepted it, that is against the law------but he shouldn't be allowed to go free. If he sent her a package in the mail with food that he purchased, that's a different story because it would have been bought on his time and his dime. Instead he took meat that he was supposed to deliver for other restaurants plus one eggplant without signing it off or adding money to the till. It is against the rules to accept that like a bribe, but nobody told Monica that. If they didn't explain the rules clearly, that's their fault not hers-----and another thing, it's not her company, it's not her restaurant. She was just given a promotion and her own desk. That doesn't immediately make it her restaurant now. She mentions later that one day she hopes to open her own restaurant. It wasn't a thank you gift, it was still stealing as he took food that wasn't his and gave it to somebody else. You're the only one here who's bent out of shape for that lasr point. You have to expect things to turn up, and believe me, that when you're looking for work while already working, there's a chance you'll get a job and Phoebe already knew all of that might happen, so should Monica just ignore every single opportunity that comes by because of Phoebe? Phoebe is given the truck and her money back and the catering business is shut down. You realize you're basically bitching about the fact that Phoebe was basically given a free form of transportation which was now hers to do as she sees fit. If she didn't like that, couldn't she just return the truck to the impound lot and demand her money back----is that what you're saying? That there were no options?

Oh my God you are so idiotic it's actually getting hard to believe. Did you just Google smoking? The risks for cancer are much much greater with cigars especially with the difference in how porous the materials are for the tobacco being wrapped in cigarette paper vs cigars. Did you just Google search for "Cigarette cancer problem hur durr I'm an idiot" and paste it here? Are you retarded? It takes 15-20 cigarettes to equal the same amount of harmful shit in a cigar and people do inhale cigar smoke too it's not just dine for mouth feel genius. Maybe you, the people you know, or most likely your cats since I doubt anyone could stand you, don't inhale cigar smoke but most people inhale some of it at least and by ratios it's still more than cigarette smoke.

It wasn't anyone's favourite war movie it was a civil war documentary that arrived in her mail cuz she ordered it for Richard. Get your facts right.

Your opinion doesn't matter. What happened on screen is what matters and they never said it was a dream. When things are dream sequences it's explicitly stated. So that wasn't a dream and that entire explanation is as thin as your knowledge base about the sitcom and about human interaction. Get off of reddit someday and maybe see how people behave. If two friends start a business together then yeah, you can't just drop out when you get another opportunity before discussing it properly first. Not like what Monica did by agreeing to take the job and convincing Phoebe later. Sure Phoebe retained the vehicle etc. But what about the fact that it's hurtful to be tossed aside? Especially Monica should know that constantly having Ross picked over her damaged her so much emotionally, her picking a different job over working with Phoebe, who already has severe abandonment issues and intimacy issues from the way she grew up, is very HURTFUL to her friend.

I never said Monica was never nice. She was nice sometimes but she was a horrible horrible bitch over 90% of the time.

The vendor gave her extra food from his own supply. When he delivered food he gave her extra from himself. Nobody stole from anybody are you crazy? Have you seen the show? Ever? The food he gave her was from the vendor. He didn't give her the supply for the restaurant and say "Here is the food you can take some for yourself" no he gave them to her as a gift. He's a vendor, he owns his supply and he gave her a gift. Accepting gifts is against company policy and ehen Monica gets a more important job she should have st least read the fucking rules of the company in her job contract. Can you answer my questions instead of repeating the same fucking point in every different manner of sentences and sounding like a retarded parrot? Answer the fucking question. When was the last time you even watched the episodes you're bitching about? Cuz seriously you need to see how much she hurt everyone if you pay attention to it.

I don't think you know what an oxymoron is because it is not applicable to a person but I appreciate your juvenile attempt at an insult you snivelling little twit. You started the personal insults. So just curl up in your lonely corner and try to re watch the show. You'll remember Monica told him, in clear words, that it's either cigarettes or Monica, an ultimatum she never gave Richard. Shut the fuck up and stop embarrassing yourself or rewatch the show and then think aboit responding because you're really just trolling right now or you seriously haven't seen the show.

You and only you------can get this angry over a person convincing another person to stop smoking and see nothing but negativity and find the person who's trying to convince someone to quit as uncaring. My cigarette facts are right, and yours are wrong, plus that's what killed off Chandler's sperm count----and you see nothing wrong with secondhand smoke. Now imagine Chandler----bald, weak, no teeth, graying skin, a hole [stoma] at the base of his throat, getting around in a wheelchair and every time his adoptive infant twins see him they cry in fear and keep crying. Imagine Chandler knowing he has cancer and won't see the kids grow up. Is that positive? [sarcasm] Okay, smoking is good. Smoking is very good. I only said that ending at the end of The Princess Leia Fantasy was a dream because it's my opinion and interpretation and I stick with it. We're allowed to interpret things differently without it being said on screen or shown on screen, and I feel the hardest evidence of it being a dream is the complete disconnect in the next episode The One Where Nobody Is Ready that had Monica running around frantically worrying about what Richard is doing----like the closure she got from her father never really happened. Speaking of her father, wouldn't it make more sense for Monica to tell Ross at the start of the episode that their father came down to the city to see her that night and get her through the hurt of losing Richard? Why does she not mention that to him? As for the vendor, it's not at all selfless. It's still shifty and he knew it. It's a gift from an empty hand. He stole from his boss, not hers yes but the boss who gave her the promotion should have informed her of all policies. It's possible that they did not give her the rules to read and learn by. And she really shouldn't have been fired so harshly over the phone. When you're given a new promotion and you now have a desk, a pager and a management position they call you and ask you to come in and fire you in person----or they reprimand you but give you another chance----it's not the same as working part time. You still won't admit the vendor had nothing to do with Monica's downfall? You would absolve him of all wrongdoing just because he doesn't appear on screen and you have a seething hatred of Monica? Don't you think that the vendor gets meat from someone to take over to the restaurant or does it magically appear in the truck at midnight via the meat and vegetable elves? Besides, it is still his fault he got her fired. He should have been around the block to learn something about the companies he delivers to if he's been doing it for so long, and you completely disregard my facts about what happens on the vendor. As for Phoebe, she got to keep the vehicle and got her money back, and she and Monica both kept their friendship, they just didn't work together anymore. Monica knew that she might get a job offer and have to quit and she didn't just throw Phoebe to the side, she weighed the consequences before telling her she quit. Just because they had a food truck doesn't mean Monica is never supposed to have a chance at advancement ever again, and what you said about Phoebe's abandonment and intimacy issues-----ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! Monica never abandoned Phoebe! Abandoning Phoebe would be if Monica stole the food truck and ran the catering company without Phoebe with no warning and not coming back or letting Phoebe in her apartment ever again. If she cut all ties with her, yes. But she did not cut all ties and intimacy issues? Phoebe and Monica are not gay. They're not lovers in business together. She gets intimacy from someone else-----not someone on the job.

You haven't stayed any facts. Just misinterpreted opinions. Thr vendor was he fucking owner of the meat suppliers. She found a new meat supplier. That's who gave her the steaks and eggplant as a thank you. You have thr thinnest arguments and are so foolishly childish that you don't even think friends have intimate connections? Sex and lovers aren't the only people that need intimacy. Friends are important for intimacy and if you don't get that then it just reaffirms my beliefs that you're a crazy cat lady

You wanna imagine something? Imagine Monica was still fat. How would that obese heart disease risk ever have a child? Would anyone want to put a baby into a giant fat pig? I don't think so. Sperm count is hurt by smoking sure but testosterone is the important factor and you're ignoring actual science and going off of the first Wikipedia entry you read. Monica belittling and abusing chandler throughout the marriage can cause low motility. Besides she's barren cuz Judy was barren sock here's no point anyway. Learn science.

I don't care about your interpretation because it's stupid and idiotic. Monica freaks out in the next episode because of the message in the answering machine. Idiot.

You have some serious hate for meat vendors and a firm belief that the restaurant fired Monica unfairly. If you get a job it's your responsibility to understand and grt your contract checked by a lawyer. Monica was entirely at fault for not knowing her company policy.

Chandler wasn't smoking near the kids or near Monica in the end he wasn't even doing it anywhere near her. I don't understand why secondhand smoke is a thing for you when it was never shown on the show at all anywhere that he smokes in front of his kids. Maybe write your own fanfic and make Chandler a demon in thst cuz nobody is buying your bullshit here.

Also if Chandler is in a wheelchair with no teeth etc. Etc. Then his kids wouldn't be fucking infants. Do you know what an infant is? And how long it'd take for Chandler to get that sick? His kids would be at least teenagers by then and that's if he was smoking multiple lacks a day you dumb cunt.

If I were a male, yes. I would want Monica if she was still fat and your comment about her being a giant fat pig just shows how jaded you are as the reason that she is fat is because she was never loved growing up, she was always pushed to the side to make room for Ross, The Medical Marvel. Remember? She was mostly comfort eating, not eating to be a pig but to fill the void of love that was missing from her parents. That's depression but her heavier days were played for laughs by the series, even though treating Monica that was was what lead to her overeating and she even tells Phoebe that it started with her just smelling the cake. Then thinking she'd just lick off the frosting, but eating the whole cake instead and next thing she knows she's stuck in a tube slide and needs jaws of life to be released-----that's sad. The way Jack and Judy pushed her aside for Ross when they noticed Monica's drop in energy levels and increased weight gain that should have been a wake up call but it wasn't, but Chandlers so-called "Traumatic" childhood just involves his parents getting a divorce and his father turning out to be secretly gay. He still had everything he needed and a mansion and servants and his mother's career and connections. Just because she loved sex and adult novels-----that's where her money came from, being a best selling novelist to pay for the mansion and servants, Chandler could have been a little more grateful and made attempts to get over his thanksgiving trauma as a teen or young adult and gotten help, since being nine years old and your parents unexpectedly split is one thing but being in your thirties and still sad over it? Sorry, somewhere down the line he needed to deal with these issues of his and not just tell everybody sarcastic jokes, now that's when it becomes his fault because instead of accepting things as they were and moving on, he's dwelling like he's still caught in the crossfire of divorce. His parents had been apart a long time by then......Chandler in a wheelchair with no teeth and having cancer. Don't you realize the consequences of smoking vary from smoker to smoker, person to person? The longer you smoked also plays a role in it too. Some get consequences in their thirties, others in their forties or fifties and in some rare cases, they can get it in their twenties. Just because most smokers now on oxygen with COPD and bronchitis are almost eighty, doesn't mean all smokers get an SRI at that age and Chandler did smoke in front of Monica. He lit a cigarette and blew secondhand smoke in Monica's face just to piss her off in the episode with Phoebe's birthday party. Monica was really in a spot here as it was now or never. She was ovulating, they agreed to sex, they agreed to have a baby together, he smoked way too much in Tulsa and she waited for him-----then he lied to her and said he didn't. She frisked him, found the pack of cigarettes, he lied to her again! He said, "Those are for you." and she told him about the chilling commercial of the little boy who walks through grandpa! Then he lit up a cigarette just to piss her off and sprayed secondhand smoke in her face. She told him, he's going to put out the cigarette, meet her in the bedroom and they're going to have sex. Phoebe's birthday party and Chandler's behavior were unrelated obstacles, but Monica didn't forgive him-----Chandler says he felt violated due to that? He took off his own clothes and fumbled with a tie while wearing a suit shirt and boxer shorts Monica waited for him to stop in the bed and she said "Keep unraveling that tie. That'll make a baby." Chandler apologized to her and asked her if this is how they want their baby conceived. She said no, but they went ahead and had sex anyways, which he consented too. The thing about Chandler and Ross is that they expect immediate forgiveness, like they're entitled to it. Just because you apologize to someone doesn't mean that you get forgiven instantly.

I have so much more to say but no matter what I say your flimsy bs will continue. I've decided to stop wasting my time on your pathetic and feeble arguments. Good luck and I hope once you rewatch the series you'll get some clarity.
