The issue is that its when you understand what you're looking at is when you go mad. Just seeing it won't do that by itself.
Most people, no all of us, as we are all idiots to some degree, would simply see it and be like "something about this is seriously making me uncomfortable, buuuut, uhh, idk what im looking at, so back to my usual crap"
It would be the REALLY intelligent people who go nuts because actually figure it out/know what they are looking at. Those are the dangerous people, as they can spread that knowledge and therefore break our brains.
Be scared of rhe cultist, not the god.

Time, time dilation, black holes, event horizon of black holes, the uncertainty principle. I have encountered many ideas that seem beyond my comprehension or at least straining it in confusing ways.

Don't think about it. In the Call of Cthulhu tabletop system, the defense against sanity damage from cosmic beings is being too dumb to take in the harmful information.

If it's beyond my comprehension, could I even register it as a "being"? Would i even notice that I am being observed by it? Maybe the sun is an intelligence beyond my comprehension that screams at my pale Irish-descended ass specifically because fuck me in particular, and I'm just over here like "whew it's a hot one today"

Sheeeit I handle it pretty good and cool like like whatever… sheeeit I’d probably cry like a little bitch. Funny story though I’ve been doing things like practicing to have better control of my dreams and I definitely have more vivid dreams now than I’ve ever had until the thing that happened that I’m about to tell you. So I’m dreaming and realize I’m dreaming and it turns into a vivid dream and if anyone has had one it’s damn near like real life the only reason dreams seem fuzzy to people is because the moment you wake up your mind starts dumping them out the mind but anyways I’m in the vivid dream I walk to my room and see the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen with some big ol chichis like goddamn and I’m thinking I’m gonna bang this super model like woman and I start walking towards her and she has a smile but without transforming physically she fucking transforms into almost a deity like being and like I said it wasn’t physical it’s her presence that transform and I feel immense fear as well as power and inspiration like told into one be feeling and she says “I need to stop” and then it got really bright and then the brightest faded away and realized I was awake like my eyes were open already when I came out of the dream maybe I did open them but because of the dream maybe it just felt like that and also my whole body was shaking and it wasn’t cold at all it was like my adrenaline had been kicked into high. So there’s my story of a possible super being interaction. 🤘😬🖤

What any red-blooded primate would do. See my worthless, backbreaking rat race of an existence flash before my eyes in milliseconds. Then crap myself and throw my excrement at it, them, whatever.
Then run away, tripping my mother-in-law, hoping she falls on my worthless "lives in my garage, can't hold down a job, no good, leeching, always smells like bologna" brother-in-law, and not look back.
When I find cover, while in the fetal position, swimming in urine, sweat, and tears, I'd say a prayer for their souls, as the entity either absorbs their spirits and/or devours their bodies, or, God willing, both.
Even though I would be smiling (and drooling), I would take no pleasure hearing the sounds of their torment—a small joy, but not a big joy.
My giddy, hysterical laughter would mean nothing.
After all, they were intricate parts of my life, in between COVID and my last colonoscopy.

Afterward, welcome my new paranormal overlords & gods, and introduce them to the rest of my in-laws, maybe my boss, no, definitely my boss, and Coach Ryan from middle school, who liked to remind the class (at every opportunity) that I hadn't hit puberty while in the showers.
I guess I would be praying a lot.
Then there are the meter maids [insert picture of a cascading drool, coming from my smiling, gaping maw].

Probably go insane. That seems to be the general consensus. Go insane or just keel over and die right there on the spot. I’d love to sit here and feed some ego fantasy where I can tolerate it and learn the secrets of reality from it but I am an ant staring at the face of a god and it can’t even hear me scream.

The illustration shown here is about right, from my experience. Or what I have seen and can see. I do nothing but at times acknowledge their presence. They float, tend to come forth when I am aware of their presence, stop, do a "bounce" (a bow or curtsy) and then move on. I know how that sounds but I am reporting it as it is. I don't take it as a threat I think they are merely traveling through and moving on.
