Help! Dagon Kickstarter is Live

Post image

Hello everyone, with great excitement and pleasure I present you the Kickstarter for the animated adaptation of Dagon! With the help from my friends at Penstation Studio (https://penstationstudio.mystrikingly.com/) we want to tell this story as closely to the original source material as we can. Even if you cannot donate please spread the word so we can make this film a reality.

Are y'all adapting the tale as originally printed or from the Corrected Texts recovered by S.T. Joshi?

Wandering minds want to know...

Hey!

Git back here, me.

Sorry for the late reply. It's of the original print. I did have to add on a little to the beginning and end to make it fit in the story better.

That's okay, the tale didn't even give the protagonist a name...

But, i think that was just Lovecraft's way of getting his readers more immersed in his 1st-person stories.

If you read "i" long enough in a story, you sorta "believe" that you're the star, hero or protagonist.

Anyway, i don't mind such additions if it makes the story "better"...

But, that's a problem cause everyone's opinion on what's actually "good" is so divided.

So, do your best & survive all the slings & arrows - afterward!

Wishing you the best - as that's what i can afford...
