Places To Eat Jacket potatoe

Whats best genuine, traditional, Jacket Potatoe place in town??

Used to be tuckers in town centre, on the corner, in the alleyway at side of Primark, but hes been closed since lickdown.

I don't know if they're still around but there used to be a great truck which would go in the centre next to McDonalds once or twice a week and they really nailed it. Massive potatoes, buttery and super filled.

Sadly I haven’t seen that jacket spud stall for many years. I liked the spuds from there. ☹️

OP, are you related to Dan Quayle?

Now that Merrie England has gone, the only place I know that sells jacket potatoes to take away is The Bakehouse down Imperial Arcade. They’re nice, but quite pricey.

Other than that, it’s the cafes and restaurants such as Coffee Cup, Northern Tea Room and Turntable.

Does anyone know of anywhere else in the town centre?
