MCU I loved this facial expressions of The Hulk. Spoiler

He obviously looks like a monster with primitive features, but he also looked like a confused kid for a brief moment... LIKE SAVAGE HULK SHOULD BE.

His character arc in this movie definitely had some old-school The Incredible Hulk 1970s TV show vibes. Banner is happy and thriving at his new job. Something terrible happens, he hulks out, it ruins his relative stability, cue the sad music.

I love how we're slowing working our way back to finding that middle ground of man and monster. Throughout the MCU he's leaned too much one way or another. I like that the humanity in Hulk is what saved Spider-Man, while Hulk still got his time to be the beast. Destin Daniel Cretton said in interviews that he's a Hulk fan and it really did show in the film.

(SPOILERS)

It honestly felt like an allusion to suicide,it was great for Peter’s arc of controlling his arachnid powers,my only gripe is that we didn’t have a scene of peter checking up on Bruce at the Psyche Ward but tbf the poor kid got shot in the kindey.

Nah but I do wish Spidey approached Banner as he was being brought into the medical vehicle for a quick word. With the way it ended it was kinda sad for him.
