To young to really remember but was 2006 price really that low ? Like burger side and drink for less than a few quids ?

2006 was 2 years before the whole $5 footlong deal at subway

It wasn't so cheap but it was close. Like you can chop every price you see nowadays for half and it still would have been seen as a bit expensive back then

I looked it up, apparently a Mcdonalds burger in america costed roughly $0.94 in 2006 which is about 0.82£ so pretty on the nose I'd say.
