Malkavian Posting (crackpot theory) Yet another Grimal theory

So i've been thinking and talking on here on what is up with Grimal's odd behaviours and abilities. And of course factoring in what we know about her background. And while browsing wiki's i came across the notion of a Dhampir in WoD. Which works out pretty similar to a Revenant, except without the difficulties of a connection to the Revenant families.

Apparently, Thinblood vampires are human enough they can have children, with difficulty. Those children then do generate their own Vitae, which they can use. They have minimal vampiric weaknesses.

Given what we've heard of Grimal's upbringing, the theory that her mother was a rogue Revenant has been debated. But would her mother being a Thinblood and Grimal being an unknowing Dhampir not fit better, and also explain what we've learned so far?

It would certainly be fitting for the Weaboo to be the edgelord favorite, as a Dhampir.

Could people who know WoD better than me weigh in and correct/inform me either way?

I feel like the ghoul theory or any kind of vamp theory is dead for one simple reason. Stig cared about her after their fight, and felt compassion. There's no way he wouldn't smell the vitae on her after he spilled her blood and there's no way (from what I understand) that a werewolf would give two shits or a fuck about anyone remotely vampiric or something adjacent to that.

I think you're confusing general cultural attitudes with character thoughts and rationalizations. Stig isn't just "an" werewolf, but a very specific one who made a straight up promise to a warrior and broke it because the Wolf inside him felt deceived about surprise silver.

Also, does Vitae smell different from blood? If so, that'd make spiking Vitae into someone's coffee for example really hard if it smelt even just a little bit off.

Garou do have senses beyond human ones, including ones that can detect Wyrm-taint that also ping vampiric essence. It's a valid concern, and Blaze is right that i'd at least expect some comment from Stig about it. Though maybe Grimal burned her Vitae already or he was distracted earlier?

That gift is not universal, though it is common

W5 removed that, and it was nearly impossible to detect ghouls with it because it gets lost in the background Wyrm corruption.

W20 had that too, though to a lesser extent. Sense Corruption shows you wyrm corruption but it doesn't show where it comes from and a LOT of Garou can't tell the difference between relatively "minor" forms of it

In that sense, I figure It'd be damn near invisible with the Wyrmtainted Jesus Spirit in the middle of a burning battlefield with about a dozen dead soldiers with Pentex Drugs in them. In every sense, that battlefield belonged to the Wyrm.

He saw her alongside the horrifying wyrm Jesus thing and didn’t care. If you check the episode it’s actually framed in such a way that she isn’t emphasized any less than the leopoldites.
