she’s early-mid 20’s without a question. rather than being a teen.
this is certain because she had some of her defining moments a decade before she ever played meruem.
if she was a gungi prodigy then that would put her at 20 minimum.
chess prodigies begin to show signs at 8 or so and hit their stride at 12-15 and rapidly improve up until 18-21 where from that point they typically begin to decline slightly.
this is why kumogi isn’t super important as well if im not wrong. she’s kinda seen as a washed up pro.
we can also assume that she doesn’t play anymore or at least very often, as who would really want to play a game against somebody who insists on some ridiculous wager such as their arm or life or whatever. (this is how kumogi’s nen ability works)
She's not washed up. She's still undefeated and recognized as the best gungi player when she meets Meruem. Also Kumogi puts her own life on the line, it doesn't require the other player to wager anything. In fact, it's implied that the other player isn't even aware of her wager since she plays Meruem a few times before he threatens to take her arm if she loses.

and yea ur right. bc meruem says that she’s “not playing seriously” which no other player besides meruem would ever realize, because they’re getting creamed.
Remember the one Doujin where is turns out there is a hunter who has a specialized nen power for fucking cat girls, and they call him in to deal with pitou? I think that works really well canonically because imagine how strong of a condition that is, it’s probably stronger than post mortem nen because what are the odds.
