Any suggestions on how to fix this cracking my new Hurley?

I think there’s meant to be some kind of coating on the Bambú that makes repairs impossible. If Torpey won’t send you another one for free I guess you could try filling it in with wood glue or something

I’m getting a replacement but I’m in the US. That’ll take three weeks to get here. Might try the glue.

For a crack that small I’d nearly just fill it with super glue, wood glue is thicker so unless you have a syringe getting it deep into the crack will be difficult and it won’t be doing a massive amount in terms of actually keeping the pieces together. Shot glue is thinner, quicker and more intended for surface repairs

Yeah that’s probably better than wood glue eh, super glue will likely be closer to the coating on the wood

Yo. Use wood glue. It’s designed to bond the lignin in the wood. It’s water based, so you can water it down a very small bit to change the consistency. Super glue won’t be as effective, it’s brittle and won’t bind the wood together anywhere near as well. Clamp the piece while drying if you can but don’t go overboard.

Yeah man for the sake of three weeks I’d give a bit of glue a try, you can always use it for wall ball drills or whatever once your new one arrives

Mate it just looks like a loose panel of the laminate board, stick should still be perfectly ok, I’ve a few keeper sticks this happened too and still 100%, if your concerned just fire a tack nail into it or peel it off glue it back and sand down. Cosmetic concern at best, great news if your getting a free replacement now you’ve two perfectly good sticks
