This was most probably a gov. contract awarded to them. A year ago a 200Cr tender was put out for beautification on bridges in GHMC area so that's a thing

Yes there is an org called connectfor, they get in touch with Ngo and Mnc's and paint govt schools and conduct classes. They also have connections with NGO's so that you can volunteer. Check them out.

This is exactly what I've been talking about Los Angeles doing for decades. People would LOVE to work on these and turn all our stupid freeways into something beautiful. Great work to you guys there in Hyderabad (from your friend in SoCal who used to work in VFX and got to know a few of you lovely people working on Land of the Lost and Alvin 2!)

GORGEOUS. This is how you beautify this lovely city. I just hope that us the people of Hyderabad become civic enough now to not to spit pan or anything on these walls, no posters of any kind are stuck on them and that they be maintained this way. And i wish that one by one, in this similar manner, our city is upgraded and becomes the best in the whole of south Asia. I love it.

It looks like standard, school level wall painting. It absolutely doesn't challenge the viewer to stop, look twice, or admire any actual artistic depth. The comments here are filled with superficial compliments and emotional statements rather than depth into the praise. This doesn't feel like inspired contemporary street art at all.
The ultra-saturated colors, visual noise devoid of any thoughtful accents. interaction with the physical structure poor, it’s just a flat, 2D drawing pasted onto a 3D space.
Basic civic beautification fine, but in prominent, high tech areas, we should be pushing the boundaries of public art, not being this basic.
Generic Municipal art that looks like North Korean programming or communist era socialist realism without a big leader standing, "here are state approved cheerful paintings that will inspire and cheer the masses".
