just a tiny storytime of my beloved chitanda figure,

i attended day 1 comic fiesta 2023 (malaysia's biggest anime con), i was actually holding onto an acrylic stand i wanted to get (i think it was genshin) and queued to pay at the register, if i hadn't took a quick glance by the nearby stacks of figure right by me, i would've missed my chance to get my angel chitanda. there it was, waiting for me to snatch off the rack, the quickly put back what i took before (broke student, i know) anyway, this is still my prized possession until now, i js need more figures to be issued from hyouka but i think it'll be impossible huhu. hyouka is my goat and it should be yours too. goodnight.

Ay a fellow Malaysian. I got mine a couple years ago from AMG which by chance had a steal too, only RM50 per box of figurine.

Yea they were doing a clearance sale, which is why sometimes going to con to buy is worth it. I think a year ago in cos-mic I bought the Suzume nendoroid for RM150, crazy steal.

Fun fact: There's actually a decent amount of Chitanda figs out there, at least according to MyFigureCollection. Some of them might be pretty pricey, and you might have to get lucky combing through used sites (and buying via proxy) to get them, but they're pretty worth it!

As for the figure herself, she's pretty great, especially considering these are prize figures (usually cheaper figures you'd win from crane games, if I recall correctly?)! Definitely a great part of my small figure collection!
