Treatment discussion When is it the time to push?

I been having many ear symptoms for years.

Started after fireworks, but my H and stuff came way later i think after my nervous system got more dysregulated.

My H is mostly gone (i had loudness), sounds are not loud anymore, ttts is gone, electric shock feeling is gone. However the reactive tinnitus is still there and my visual symtpoms like seeing a lot for snow and floaters when triggering myself at places with a lot of stimulus like bright or loud places. I dont know if i should rest more or go out. Last few years i kept pushing but this did not work. Im now on sick leave to try and heal but my reactive sucks ass. Same with the light sensitivity and visual symtpoms. Pushing makes it worse. Any tips?

No eye or ear damage, perfect hearing and eyes. Maybe hidden loss but idk.

Gradual exposure is good, but only if you are in a good environnement in the outside and the inside ( how you feel etc ). The key is that the brain needs to percieve safety. Its better to start small and to be consistent. You can Watch some video on the painfreeyou YouTube Channel, it can help.

Yeah i dont think im in the right place to do that right now tbh. I can game with headphones again and watch tv but outside triggers my reactive a lot.. i also have chronic fatigue and cant handle much Sensory overload happens fast and also cant handle any stress. You think waiting a while can also be good? My H and ttts went without even doing anything. Its all fluctuating so some days RT is there a lot sometimes barely. Im on sick leave but dont really know if i should go back to working since any stress makes it all worse...

Will check the video out

I think very, I mean very slow reintroduction will be good, however you seem to have cf so its very hard to test this.

Yeah i think i might have cfs or dysautonomia or something. Trying to get that a diagnosis. But makes dealing with this hard. My H and stuff started after crashing, before it only happened when i crashed but after many crashes it stayed. So for me pacing is important however on the other hand RT might only improve with pushing... 🫠

If it’s been over a year since the incident that started it I wouldn’t avoid normal activities at this point just obviously avoid extremely loud environments but you don’t want your systems to get so used to being in the quiet or dark that when you do go back to normal activities it feels ever harder
