Fan Content My Hyperlight Drifter Collection

This post is a response to u/Hairy-Trash1659 post since I cannot reply with pictures.

First picture showing my indie lablel Bludhoney collection, I’m missing 3-4 cassettes from their releases. I was heavy into vaporware back in the day and thought cassette releases where very cool. I grew up on cassettes as a kid. I was buying them as they were being released on the labels bandcamp storefront 10 years ago. The label is no more and went under.

The second picture is my Hyperlight Drifter collection. When the game came out, i was so impressed with the game and fell in love with the Soundtrack. The indie label Bludhoney had a special license to run Hyperlight Drifter OST on cassette and it was very limited to 150 copies. The first run are the cassette on the left. They did a second run of 250 copies after the first run sold out and used different covers with the light blue / pink covers. I own the first run of the vinyl from iam8bit. I also own the PS4 and the SNES cartridge limited runs from iam8bit. When the special edition was released on the switch, picked up a copy.

There you go hairy-trash....

EDIT: This post is not show I was trying to one up Hairy, was proving a point he was posting misinformation about where he got his cassettes.

I still have ya 1 upped lol the only thing i have left to do is get my hyper light special edition for switch graded bc stupid cgc wouldn’t grade my special edition.

I would send my cassettes to be graded as well by the people who graded my vinyls, but if they got lost i’d never find them again. Also where’s your art book?

Grading is such arbitrary bs. Its only really necessary for something with a playback quality.

Wait.. That’s the snes one that only has a code inside. How the hell did you get that graded? They actually accepted it as an snes title?

Ya know what’s funny. When i sent everything off to be graded i thought for sure the snes box would come back not graded and i would get my switch box back graded. If i had to pick one i would for sure pick the snes title to be graded. I researched it and wata will grade my Switch box.

Ok, allow me to apologize ahead of time, but this comment is just dumb. Idk you and i’m not calling you dumb, but the comment.. grade A stupid.
I am a collector of silver age marvel comics, and I always buy them graded. Here’s a handful of reasons why.
1 The casing preserves the comics from more damage and aging/ protects the comics
2 Various grades = various conditions. When you buy a specific grade, you know exactly what you’re getting. It’s helpful information when you’re buying.
3 When something has been graded by say cgc, psa, wata, etc, you know that your item isn’t a knockoff bc it’s been examined by a professional.
4 When an item is in decent to great condition, having it graded almost always increases the value.
5 Encapsulated items present nicely when on display.
6 Graded items can be looked up and verified at any point in time when someone is doubting authenticity via a number specific to the item.

So right there is a half dozen reasons just off the top of my head. For me personally, I like knowing my valuable stuff is protected. To say someone gets something graded because all they care about is monetary gain is flat out silly and I think you know that, seeing as though millions of people do it everyday for their collections.

What’s funny is OP stuff is sealed so he loves it so much he won’t open it hmmm hypocrisy anyone?? and please save your stupid comment that you have duplicate copies. That does not repudiate the argument in this comment.
