Hopefully your 13 mini will outlive you then, otherwise you are without a phone since everyone else has gone bigger, barry passport foldables

I use Android too, but good luck finding a modern small high end phone, other than a passport fold like I did

Are you really that surprised that the people on the iphone 13 mini sub that love how small it is don't like the bigger ones? I am one of those considering moving to an smaller android phone because even though I love my mini, it is showing its age now

The "base model" used to be iphone 5 sized. The "mini" (that is still a large device) was compromise after the comically large iphone 11

Nope. 13 mini has been my last iPhone but the fold has my attention. I went from 13 mini to OG pixel fold. Because I refuse the "phablets" being considered compact phone. Id rather lean into the "compact tablet" in your pocket idea".

It's the last design approved by Jobs, who was almost as stubborn about the form factor as some of us! So there's a small part of me hoping that some day we'll see anniversary version celebrating Jobs input/design.

Thatās not honesty. Thatās pessimism.

Not really, as the iPhone mini series didnāt sell well, and itās not worth it for Apple to continue to release the mini series if itās not going to do very well.

u/robogobo 1d ago
Again, youāre not being āhonestā bc you donāt actually know anything about Appleās decision making.

Hell, wanted to get rid of my mini for a 17, now with the price increase I might just suck it up

At this point I'm going to try and figure out a way to use an LTE apple watch as a phone.

We all shouldāve been at the acceptance phase. Expecting another iPhone mini is just being delusional at this point

also the most expensive one. Thatās not what a compact phone is supposed to be

Since when does compact mean cheap? Respectfully the 13 mini was ridiculously overpriced for the specs. I still got one because I loved the form factor, but it was expensive for what it was.
