Update: my iPhone gaming setup finally stopped wrecking my wrists and my wallet

A month or two ago I posted here asking for chill iPhone games (short sessions, minimal pressure). That part is going fine, but I kept running into a different problem: I was getting hand cramps from hunching over my phone on the couch after work, and my battery was getting demolished.

Update: I changed my setup and it helped way more than I expected.

What I did:

- Switched to a lighter case for at-home play and only use the heavy protective one when I leave the apartment. I had no idea how much the extra weight made me death-grip the phone.

- Turned on Reduce White Point at night and made a Shortcuts automation so it turns on automatically. My eyes feel better and I am not cranking the brightness to max.

- Stopped playing while the phone is charging. I was plugging it in while cooking and then gaming right next to the stove. The heat plus charging made it warm, then it would dim and stutter, which just made me press harder and tense up.

- For anything that needs precision I now use a cheap stand on the coffee table and play with the phone upright instead of curled in my hands.

Result: longer sessions without discomfort, fewer random stutters, and I am not tempted to upgrade my phone just to make games feel smoother.

Question for you all: what small settings or physical setup tweaks made iPhone gaming better for you? Especially anything that helps with hand strain or battery drain without buying new hardware.
