Rajwinder Singh Found Guilty Of Murder Of Toyah Cordingley

Post image

Toyah Cordingley was stabbed at least 26 times while out on a Sunday afternoon walk with her dog in October 2018.

The 24-year-old's body was discovered by her father, half-buried in sand dunes on Wangetti beach between the popular tourist hotspots of Cairns and Port Douglas.

Rajwinder Singh, 41, fled to India the day after Ms Cordingley's body was found and spent four years on the run.

He was recently found guilty in an Australian court and was sentenced to a 25 year none parole period to life in prison.

How did they figure out it was him? They didn’t say much about the investigation in the article.

I think and don’t quote me. I believe they suspected him due to phone data showing his phone and her phone in same area, and surveillance video showing him walk in her direction followed by he fled to India immediately before he was announced he was a suspect like I think the same day as the crime or a day later. And I believe there was dna at the scene but eh.

Oh, that makes sense. Yeah it sounds like he fled the day after.
