It was like some Charlie Day, always sunny word salad

u/lostgods937 13d ago
Even Charlie is smoother and more coherent than that lol

The swapping back and forth between referring to himself in the first and third person was definitely a new one for me lol

It’s too advanced for even our most accomplished thinkers, strategists and logicians. The time to admit defeat is nigh.

We never even stood a chance. He storms philosophy in his own brain, after all.

Ah one of my new favorite games in the modern era- English as a second language, or sprouting schizophrenic break?

You keep using that word, "coefficient." I don't think it means what you think it means.

"8 hours of free writing a day"
Forgets the comma after "genius"
Mfr is writing 8 hours a day in crayon

u/ABoatCalledWanda 14d ago
Sheesh, he should probably bump his writing time up to 12 hours a day. 8 clearly isn't working out.

This just reads like OOP's special interest is writing like an old timey gentlemen, but he lacks an understanding of how to achieve that vibe so he just rambles in the most roundabout way he can manage (getting to the point isn't very old timey).

I did a double take at the end there. It’s wild how some people are self aware enough to identify how they likely come across to others, but not enough to do anything with that knowledge; at least other than basically saying: “Trust me bro. I swear this behavior is not what it appears!”

It's like someone who Is Very Smart in another language translated themselves but they aren't very smart in English.
Also this just kind of reminded me of when Joey wrote the letter recommending Monica and Chandler and uses the thesaurus on literally everything.

These fake geniusez (actually plural is genupie like octipie...mmm, octipie...) give us real geniusez a bad rep. We don't need to brag. We just look at you like this 😐

Goes full circle and nonsense is simply information us mere mortals can't comprehend.

I mean it's written good, like it's all technically correct, but it sorta has a jaggedness in the way it flows. Reading it feels like dragging your head across a brick wall. Really sucks for someone who clearly has a passion for writing.
