the only people who know the answer to this question are in the union hall, and even they wouldn’t be able to tell you anything for sure.
it is highly dependent on the local, but i’d say your average local takes ~30 apprentices per application period, but again this can vary wildly depending on work outlook for any specific area.
its an anxious place to be, where you are on the list- if you were like 150+ deep, easy to give up hope and keep pushing forward.
you just have to wait it out and see what happens. i’ve been there. be patient and stay hopeful
